Véronique's Specialties:

Bamboo-Fusion Massage is a warm bamboo massage, with bamboo sticks of various lengths and shapes heated in a heating pad. Bamboo-Fusion brings an extreme sensation of relaxation and well-being. The patient receives deep tissue work without that poky feeling, the heat helps to penetrate tight muscles quickly, relieves tension in ligaments and tendons, helps reduce chronic pain and it stimulates the flow of blood and qi.

Thai Herbal Ball Massage incorporates heated herbal balls into a full body massage or a treatment for the feet and legs. The herbal balls are heated in a steamer, then applied directly to the skin during or after the massage. The herbal ball is excellent for relief of stiff, sore or strained muscles and ligaments in the foot and legs. The blend of traditional Thai herbs used in the herbal balls has a therapeutic, relaxing and invigorating effect on the body and mind, while also soothing sore and over-worked muscles in the feet and legs and giving a boost for the body’s life energy level.

Dry Skin Brushing is beneficial to cleanse the lymphatic system, remove dead skin layers, strengthen the immune system, stimulate the hormone and oil-producing glands, tone the muscles, stimulate circulation, improve the function of the nervous system and help digestion.

Connective Tissue Massage Dr. Ida P. Rolf’s work is the foundation of connective tissue massage. This foundation is based on the principles of alignment and movement to create a dynamic approach to myofascial release. To understand the technique of Connective Tissue Massage, it is important to first appreciate some facts about fascia. All of the structures in the body are surrounded, protected and supported by connective tissue. This matrix connects or binds together, the body’s organs and systems, and at the same time provides compartmentalization between them.

Connective tissue massage helps to:

  • Relieve chronic tension

  • Promote deep relaxation

  • Enhance self-awareness

  • Facilitate significant improvement in posture

Reflexology is a science that deals with the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands that correspond to all the glands, organs and parts of the body. Reflexology is a unique method of using the thumbs and fingers on these reflex areas. Reflexology includes but is not limited to relieve stress and tension, improve blood supply and promote the unblocking of nerve impulses.
