Mariana Guimaraes is a licensed Acupuncture Physician in the state of Florida. She is certified by NCCAOM (National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) holding a National Board Certification in Acupuncture, Oriental Medicine, and Chinese Herbology.

 

Mariana graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master in Traditional and Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, CA. In addition to Acupuncture, Mariana uses techniques including, Cupping, Electro-Acupuncture, Moxibustion.  She is skilled in multiple styles of Acupuncture including, TCM, Japanese, Master Tung, Esoteric, and Auricular (ear, NADA, battlefield).  She has received additional training in Acupuncture Point Injection therapy, which integrates natural and homeopathic remedies into Acupuncture points to treat specific wellness needs.

 

She completed her residential training at the Roy and Edna Disney Family Cancer Center in Burbank, California where she provided high quality care to assist with a variety of cancer conditions. She attained additional training at the the Venice Family Clinic Simms/Mann in Venice, CA where she charitably practiced specialized skills to meet health needs of low income indigent people.

 

Mariana specializes in women’s health, fertility, cosmetic acupuncture, psycho-emotional issues and pain. She is a compassionate practitioner who integrates herbal nutrition and lifestyle guidance into her treatments.
